Horrible, sad weekend… words don’t even begin to describe how I feel right now. Our beloved dwarf hammy Shiverbug passed away late on Saturday evening. We are completely and utterly devastated.
He was such a beautiful little hampig. I loved his twitchy whiskers and his tiny little paws. I loved everything about him, and still do. He was the perfect friend. I knew he was mine from the moment I saw him, away from all the other “perfect” hamsters, falling over when trying to drink and sitting in his food bowl. My gorgeous little misfit hampig. I hope he’s eating all the sunflower seeds he can shove into his face, wherever he may be.
