My first Susie Sad Eyes has arrived! The little girl with a yellow slicker and a missing shoe turned up yesterday, after the payment of a small ransom fee to Mr Tax Man and his friends at Royal Mail, ugh. She was rather grubby, so I gave her a good wash and left her to dry out over night, but now she’s just lovely.
The coat is a Sugar Mag Blythe coat, and the hat is a very old EuroTrash Lati Yellow helmet (years and years and years old!) – it doesn’t quite fit over Mir’s usual wig, so I’m pleased that Susie #1 has claimed it for herself.
Really enjoying the autumn weather… cold and crisp, just how I like it. I’m always glad to see the back of summer.
We’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of the second Susie to keep her company. Before this one had arrived I’d indulged in another cutie from eBay… I can’t wait to have the two of them together.
I honestly don’t know how I resisted these ladies for so long. Perfect pocket-sized dolls for taking on adventures. Cross your fingers that the second Susie makes an appearance soon!
