Sushi Express – Sheffield

Sushi

This weekend Catherine, Dan & I went over to Sheffield to get our hair done at the fabulous Hair By Christmas. Despite the fact that I’ve been living in Leeds for almost 9 months now, I still refuse to look for another hairdresser – the guys at Hair By Christmas are honestly that good. I really wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair.

To celebrate our freshly cut and dyed hair, we went for lunch at Sushi Express, a new(ish) Japanese restaurant on Milton Street. The food was absolutely wonderful, and really good value for the amount we ended up eating. I’m gutted that this wasn’t open when I was living in Sheffield, and working just two minutes around the corner…

The last picture is my black sesame ice cream… ohhhh, it was good! Dan had the wasabi ice cream, which I found surprisingly good – I’m not usually a fan, but this was subtle enough to work. We will definitely go back next time we’re in Sheffield.

Sushi = love! I’ve never heard of black sesame and/or wasabi ice cream before, sounds… unusual. But I’d definitely like to try it some time, ice cream can never be bad 😀
