This afternoon I spent some time photographing Leemoo, my newest (almost anyway!) Blythe doll, a Simply Guava. She came to live with me in April, after my friend Neil went on holiday to Japan with his parents and sought her out for me. She’s been ready to photograph for ages now, but what with moving to Leeds for my new job I’ve not really had a lot of time free.
Leemoo has been spray matted with Mr Super Clear flat, and has four new sets of eyechips from Ixtee. She is the first Blythe doll I have sprayed matte instead of sanding, and I’m really pleased with how she turned out. When the weather/humidity is a bit better I’m going to spray my Rouge Noir, Ember, with MSC too. I simply can’t get along with shiny Blythes!
Her dress and helmet were Blythecon UK purchases – the dress is from Moshi Moshi, and the helmet is (obviously) from Ruth at Eurotrash. As soon as I got home with all my dolly loot after the con Leemoo claimed the Eurotrash helmet as her own – possibly because it works so well with her blue front facing eyechips! :cheery: I’m absolutely in love with the little owl bead in the middle, it’s too cute for words!
I’d very much like a human sized version of the dress, as I’m crazy for anything sugar-skull/day of the dead themed. I still toy with the idea of having sugar skull tattoos on my chest… I’ve been considering it on and off since I was about 17 or so, and I’m 22 now. Maybe someday!
Thanks for looking! If you’d like to see more pictures of Leemoo, you can visit her set at Flickr.

She’s really cute. At first, I really feel so-so with Guava but after I saw her from you and lots from Flickr. I really changed my mind. She’s such a darling <3
