Holidays & Dolly Days

December 1, 2011 1 Comment

Hello! Things have been very busy at ninjabat-towers lately, which is why I’m so behind on all things internet and doll related. The ninja-boy and I went on holiday to Whitby at the start of November, as we tend to around this time of year. I got to wear my new Kreepsville skelly dress, and Dan got lots of beer – everyone’s a winner! :cheery:

Whitby Goth Weekend - November 2011 Whitby Goth Weekend - November 2011

We drank a lot, ate a lot, and relaxed even more. Unplanned, stress free Whitby is the best kind of Whitby. Someone needs to remind me of this next time I’m freaking out about being in control of every last detail. I had so much more fun just shoving a load of stuff in a case and going, without really thinking about it.

Last weekend was Thought Bubble comic convention – cue lots of Hevs and Barney time and general geekery. Oh, and an excellent visit to Little Tokyo. We even saw the Coca Cola truck, which made us all festive and cheery. This year we will be organised. We have spreadsheets for the festive season and everything. All hail Google Docs and the power of Android supported relationships.

Note my excellent hat – a present from Dan, bought in Whitby. Best hat in the world? I think it may be…

This weekend was the last Leeds Blythe meet of the year, which saw a return to our favourite place to play dollies, The Pie Hole at The Hop.

And and and… I finally finished my new custom girl, Caprica! She’s the Sunday Very Best Blythe doll I’ve been slowly working on over the past year or so.

Meet Caprica...

I’m so in love with her. I’ll try to get around to a proper introduction for her soon, because she completely deserves some real attention. I’m just so busy with other things I have pretty much no time for Blythe. This week I’m working extra hours, and at the weekend I’m running away to Edinburgh in search of Hairy Coos with Catherine for a cheeky little holiday. See you soon!
