The Monster High addiction hobby continues to grow… today we welcomed Sweet 1600 C.A. Cupid into the family. I still don’t know if Mattel are planning on bringing this lady to UK shores any time soon, so I bit the bullet and bought online. I am so glad I did!

As luck would have it, I ended up with a couple of spare Cupid dolls (I was not willing to be let down by a supplier, so ordered three to cover my back… yeah, I’m that obsessed with those ribcage wings).
I’ve listed one on eBay UK at a reasonable starting price to give folks this side of the pond a chance at owning her, without the worry of import fees or the horrendous price of a certain other eBay listings for Cupid 😛 The cheek of some people is unbelievable! I haven’t decided what to do with Cupid #3 yet, she may get listed, she may stay trapped in her box… time will tell!
Word on the street is that she’s going to be an Asda exclusive over here about March time. 🙂 And, urr, by the street, I mean, the monster high LJ comms. 😛
Aye, would make sense, given the Walmart thing… I saw someone post on a MH fansite earlier saying that they’d seen her in an Asda already? That said, I’ve seen many more people saying that they HAVEN’T seen her in Asda, and she’s not in our local… :heart:
Also, word on the forum is that Argos should get Operetta and Nefera mid February…
I just saw an argos tv ad for nefera and operetta yesterday, (2nd feb) so hopefully it will be soon. they’re listing a howleen and clawdeen duo pack online already, but it’s “not in stock” in my local store.

trouble is, I bought toralei in October for an obscene amount of money, and now I can buy her in my local tesco for £14.99, so I’m wary of paying over the odds if I can just get a million of them in a few months! but what if I miss out!! gah!
