I finally unboxed my Monster High Operetta doll! This ghoul has been cooped up in her box since I bought her at the end of March. I’d say it’s discipline, but really it’s a combination of tiredness and a lack of time that’s kept her there. She was worth the wait. 
Perfect hair, even if it is full of glue to keep the style straight. Her skin has the most amazing detail… tattoos and scarring, with a creepy musical feel. Houndstooth outfit. Treble clef shoes. I can NOT believe how much I love these dolls right out of the box.
Operetta has a VERY cute pet too – Memphis “Daddy O” Longlegs. He’s a total boss, what with his hair and his eyebrows…
I need to photograph my Monster High dolls more – Dan bought me the Create A Monster packs for my birthday, along with the skeleton girl add on pack. I should really make time to play with/photograph those. And I have my eyes on Rochelle Goyle now! 
I feel a trip to Toys R Us coming on…
