Taobao Factory Blythe Adventures

May 22, 2012 2 Comments

Okay, so I caved! I have been on the fence about the factory Blythes since I saw them flooding eBay in 2010, and last night I finally cracked when browsing Taobao…

Untitled

Dan & I ventured into the realms of dubious Chinese  e-commerce, and (hopefully!) I have three new Blythes on the way to me. I have no idea if these girls are factory Blythe dolls – that is, mismatched hybrid parts acquired from real Takara factories by nefarious means – or if they are out and out fakes. I am sure I will love them regardless.

I can’t wait for them to arrive! I got a “we’ll be shipping them in the next few days” message today, so hopefully they’ll be here within the next week or two! Eeek!
