Another month done… and this one was harder than January. Lots of “real life” going on, which meant that towards the end of the month, A Doll A Day was the last thing on my mind. I promise I’ll be more on the ball in March. Honest.
Though stressy and weird in places, February was full of nice things too – the first thing that springs to mind is that we booked flights and accommodation for BlytheCon Barcelona in April. I am SO excited! :cheery: I studied Spanish for over seven years without ever visiting Spain, but that’s a story/regret for another time. BlytheCon Barcelona looks like it’s going to be amazing!
Astrid (a factory Blythe from Taobao) has finally gone under the knife, and is just waiting for a delivery of some blind cord so I can give her sleep eyes. You can see her faceup in the mosaic, but I’ll be posting more detailed shots once she’s back in one piece.
I (rather nervously!) opened my Blythe shop, selling hand made pixie helmets and with a tiny closet clean out section too. I’ve had a couple of orders so far, and everything looks to be going well.
PhD progress? Well, since you asked… I got ethical approval for my first study, and have started data collection. Now comes the hermit phase where I spend months and months in NVivo… aha. What was I saying about being more on the ball in March?
