You know what? Even though it was a pretty good month overall, I’m glad April is over. A lot of things happened in the 30 days… I seemed to be really busy all the time, at work and at home. A Doll A Day was pretty difficult, with a lot of pictures uploaded late, or just snapped dead quick on my phone. I’m hoping to pick it up again this month, but have already uploaded three photos (of a potential six) a day late. Urgh.
Dan has started a new job as a web developer, which is super exciting – it’s exactly the kind of role he was looking for, with a mixture of technical stuff and programming. It’s a little bit weird adjusting to the new routines, but I’m beyond happy for him. :cheery: He started right as we were about to have two bank holiday weekends in a row, so it’s eased him in gently! The first weekend was spent at barbecues and celebrating my sister’s 20th birthday, and the second was spent playing V:TES, Hello Kitty Monopoly, Star Wars Risk and Munchkin with friends. Bliss!
We went to Skipton on Monday in search of markets or car boot sales, but actually ended up in an amazing antiques shop. I managed to snap some quick shots on my phone, which might give you a feel for how lovely and interesting the shop really is.
I’m going to spend the afternoon relaxing today, and hopefully get something productive done over the weekend… we’ll see how that turns out! :hero:
